Terms & Conditions – The Alchemist Ceremonies

Introduction

Welcome to The Alchemist Ceremonies. By using this website or engaging my services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. Services

The Alchemist Ceremonies provides bespoke celebrant services for weddings, funerals, naming ceremonies and other life celebrations.

The scope and details of your ceremony will be agreed in advance and confirmed in writing prior to commencement.

2. Booking & Payment

All bookings must be confirmed in writing (email is acceptable).
A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your date, as agreed during your initial consultation.
The remaining balance is due:
- Funerals: on or before the day of the ceremony
- All other ceremonies: no later than one month before the ceremony date
Payments can be made via bank transfer or other agreed methods.

Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been received.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

Any cancellation by the client must be made in writing.
Refunds (where applicable) will be subject to the terms outlined in your individual agreement.
In the unlikely event that I am unable to deliver the agreed service due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of any fees paid will be provided, or I will assist in sourcing an alternative celebrant where possible.

4. Changes to Your Ceremony

Any changes to ceremony details should be communicated as soon as possible.
Final changes must be confirmed no later than:
- 3 days prior for funerals
- 14 days prior for all other ceremonies
Significant changes may incur additional fees depending on the level of revision required.

5. Liability

Every effort will be made to deliver your ceremony as agreed.

However, The Alchemist Ceremonies cannot be held liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Liability is limited to the total amount paid for the services provided.

6. Intellectual Property

All ceremony scripts and written content created by The Alchemist Ceremonies remain the intellectual property of the business.

You are granted permission to use this content for personal use only. It may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without prior written consent.

7. Confidentiality

Your privacy is extremely important.

All personal information shared will be treated with care and used solely for the purpose of planning and delivering your ceremony.

8. Complaints

If you have any concerns, please contact me in writing within 7 days of your ceremony so that the matter can be addressed promptly and appropriately.

9. Website Use

By using this website, you agree not to:

10. Amendments
